Posted by Leah in Photo Diary | No Comments » October 27, 2008The Kay FamilyIt took awhile for little Carter to warm up….but we ended the session being b.f.f.’s. I shot Michelle and Kheam’s wedding in 2005 so it was great to see them again and to meet Carter.
Posted by Leah in Portraits | No Comments » October 27, 2008Corona Del Mar WeddingPerhaps you recognize these 2 fantastic people from their engagement shoot…Tracie and Lars were married last week (sorry guys for the delayed post) in beautiful Southern California. The wedding was fun, classy and beautiful!
Tracie and the girls doing a prayer before she walks down the aisle.
Lars and his groomsmen looked so classy in their traditional tuxedos with bow ties!
Personal favorite of the guys.
Hey ladies…
I love this shot of Tina (brides sister) with Tracie and Dad in the background. I shot Tina and Jared’s wedding in 2007.
Happily married.
It was dark as we were finishing up so it was fun to play with light….I love these last 2 shots.
Congratulations Tracie and Lars! It was great to work with you both…you are a very, very sweet couple! Posted by Leah in Portraits | 1 Comment » October 15, 2008Dressing in the blues…Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Jess (Jesse) & Jess’s (Jessica) wedding. You may recognize them.
Jessica looked absoultely stunning! I love this vintage feeling image of her teeny, tiny waste.
The girls. Thanks to Christina for the referral!!
The Men.
The darling flower girl.
I caught Jess laughing and love his natural expression.
Also a big fan of this moment between Jess and his Mom with Dad in the background.
Jessica had her Grandfather walk her down the aisle….And when the Priest announced the first kiss, Jess got out his mouth spray..pretty funny!
Just Married! WoooWooo!
Jessica doing what she does best…looking stunning.
In the limo on the way to the reception.
First dance.
The best man getting the party started…heyyyoooo!
Why cut a cake with a knife when you have a SWORD!
Posted by Leah in Weddings | No Comments » October 14, 2008After the fact…You may remember Chad and Michelle from their wedding a few months ago. Well, we ran out of time to do their engagement session so we did it after, no biggie. It was nice to hang out with you guys again!
We started the session at their home and then headed downtown.
Chad had this cool chair he wanted in some of the shots so I suggested we lug it downtown with us. I love props!
Finally…

He is a video gamer who loves Boddingtons and smiles (always) . They tied the knot in front of family and friends and are living happily ever after…
I had major competition all day
They had a giant cupcake instead of a cake and tiny, wonderfully delicious, mini cupcakes for the guest to enjoy! Loved that!
The grooms parents got the party started early.
